Last night, Carmelo Anthony revealed his second collection for Melo Made in collaboration with designer Laduma Ngxokolo of MAXHOSA AFRICA. The collection draws upon the spirit and beauty of Africa and was inspired by artist Nelson Makamo. Anthony chose to work with Laduma and Nelson to help him capture the beauty and unique fashion, music and arts culture of the continent. These unique pieces were made in the MAXHOSA AFRICA brand headquarters in Africa.


Melo Made Collection 2 was on display at the spectacular Harlem Parish in New York City. Upon entry, guests were directed through a creative journey showcasing Melo’s personal art collection, leading to an interactive painting installation by Nelson Makamo. Special guests included Antoine Bethea, Jidenna, PJ Tucker, Rudy Gay, Shiggy, Sophia Hutchins, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Tiwa Savage. cuisine from Teranga and drinks from Mezcal El Silencio.
